Meet the Doctor

Gainesville Chiropractic Center was started in 1992, when Dr. Cliff Griffin, originally from Michigan, moved to Gainesville in order to start his practice. Michigan's loss was definitely Gainesville's gain, and this chiropractic center comes very highly recommended.

Dr. Griffin wasn't always a chiropractor. With a degree in aviation, he was teaching a chiropractor how to fly planes, when the chiropractor taught him something in return: how chiropractic helps people with all kinds of health problems. He said that to be truly healthy you had to have a healthy nervous system because the nerves control every other system in the body. He also said that you needed to feed the body the proper viatmins and minerals. This chiropractor then shared how a chiropractor's main focus was to remove any spinal interference to the nervous system. This made a lot of sense to Dr. Cliff, who had suffered from severe hay fever and allergies all his life. Having been told that he'd be on medications for the rest of his life, even though they offered only temporary relief of his symptoms, Dr. Cliff decided to go and see him. His chiropractor started to correct the problems in his spine and nervous system and
Dr. Cliff's health started to return. By the next spring, for the first time in his life, he was completely symptom and medication free. To Dr. Cliff, this was unbelievable! He was so excited that he wanted to share this knowledge with the world - so he decided to become a chiropractor. Dr. Griffin graduated from Life University in Marietta, GA , and added a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree to his Bachelor of Science Degree.

The Gainesville Chiropractic Center is a Wellness Center. This means that the patient examination focuses on the whole person rather than on just the presenting symptoms. People are not just a back problem, a headache problem, or a stomach problem. These symptoms are just warning signs that the body is not functioning properly. In the tradtional medical world drugs and medication are the primary way of eliminating someone's symptoms. However, all drugs have side effects, and the relief they provide is only a temporary one - they do nothing to promote healing or wellness. Dr. Griffin's main focus is on improving one's overall health regardless of the symptoms. He knows that by restoring and maintaining proper spinal motion, spinal alignment and a healthy nerve flow that your health, and therefore your symptoms, will improve.

This is one of the factors differentiating the Gainesville Chiropractic Center from other practices in the area. They are able to help anybody - from newborn infants to the elderly, and even people with osteoporosis because they never use any strenuous manipulation or twisting in order to correct a person's spine or nerve problems. Dr. Griffin also advise's their patients on proper nutrition and supplementation using Desigend Cinical Nutrition.

Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8am-12pm and 2pm-6pm. Tuesday hours are from 8am-12pm. They are closed on Fridays.

If you are one of those people avoiding chiropractic care because you are afraid, then you need to visit the Gainesville Chiropractic Center. Your health may be restored and your symptoms improved without any strenuous manipulation or twisting.
